The journey of Guidance International School began in 2010 with the establishment of an English-medium preschool at No. 192/2, Colombo Road, Bokundara. Within a short period, the preschool earned a reputation for excellence in early childhood education and expanded to serve a student population of over 350 preschoolers. In response to increasing demand from parents, a second branch was established in 2013, together with a Grade One class. This marked the beginning of the school's transformation into a fully-fledged international school.
